"Intentional Giving" is a term that we have adopted to best reflect our attitude about philanthropy.  In this section you will find information about our Intentional Giving team and the work they are doing to "raise the tide of philanthropy for all" across Grundy County.

"Early Childhood Care & Education" is one of our Communityworks focus areas.  In this section you'll find information about the Grundy Partnership for Children and the work they do to address issues affecting young children, their families, and the professionals who serve them.

"Land Use & Protection" is one of our Communityworks issue areas.  Our focus is to bring education, training, networking, and awareness to the elected and appointed planning officials across Grundy County so that their land use decisions are based on best practices.

"Workforce Development" is one of our Communityworks issue areas.  We partner with the training, education, and business communities to support their work to prepare our youth for life after high school and maintain a vibrant workforce of all ages.

"People in Need" is our term for Grundy County families who are most likely low income, but the term is broader to reflect that "need" isn't always income based.  A great deal of our grantmaking and convening focus is in this area.

"Growth and its impact on our systems" is one of our earliest issue areas.  It's about more than growth (or lack of)  from a planning perspective -- it's about the ability of all of our systems (education, health, municipal, transportation) to adequately serve our residents.
