Each fall We Care of Grundy County provides school supplies to low income families across Grundy County.

In order to assure We Care has enough, there will be a "Stuff the Bus" event on Saturday, July 10th, at Wal-mart in Morris.

As people enter Wal-mart, volunteers hand them slips of paper containing a list of school items.  As people shop, they purchase items of their choice from the list.  As they leave the store, they give the items to the volunteers.  At the end of the day, the stuffed bus will take the school supplies to We Care so they are ready to distribute to families in need in August.

This is a great opportunity for groups such as Scouts and church youth groups to perform community service hours.
