We are proud to say that we have supported the Jump Start program in Grundy County for years now to the tune of over $157,000! Jump Start is a parents-as-teachers in-home intervention program for families with young children ages birth to five. The goal is to work on issues early so that children enter school ready to learn. Jump Start staff works with parents and children on any variety of things, such as parenting, discipline, nutrition, education, play, reading, hygiene…anything that makes the relationship between the child and parents stronger. So proud of this program. And a big thanks to Easter Seals for adopting this program a few years ago when they needed a new home!!!!
